April 6/7th

English 1 -- Today in class, students read their reading choice/library books for the first 20 minutes of the period.  They then wrote letters to Mrs. Krysl telling her what they had read in their books so far.  After independent reading and writing, the class discussed chapter 2 of Of Mice and Men and began reading chapter 3.

English 2 -- Today in class, students presented their projects over The Kite Runner.  They then broke into research groups to write a brief summary of how the 6 critical questions apply to their research topic.
